workshop dinner

The three course workshop dinner will be held at the same venue from 7pm on the 15th, and is included in the cost of registration. Nuffield Scholar and NSW farmer, Mr Brent Alexander will speak at the dinner about his overseas scholarship tour researching crop nutrition, and about sourcing crop nutrition information in Australia from a farmer’s perspective.

POTOZ ‘05 is an initiative of the Potassium Development Program (Australia and New Zealand), which aims to provide sound agronomic information to researchers, agronomists and farmers on potassium nutrition of crops and pastures in our region. This is achieved through the provision of booklets, workshops, research articles and the website www.potash-info.com as well as supporting research in partnership with public research organisations and the fertiliser industry.

The Program is funded by Canpotex Ltd, Australia’s largest supplier of potassium fertilisers.

The registration form can be downloaded as a PDF. The form is a tax invoice; please retain a copy for your records. Registration (AUD $195 incl. GST) includes attendance of POTOZ’05 at the Brighton Savoy in Melbourne, a copy of the printed proceedings and the workshop dinner. You must register before 30th October 2005. Registration and payment must be received at the POTOZ’05 secretariat by 30 October 2005. All prices are GST inclusive. Faxed registrations will be accepted as firm bookings - payment must be received within 10 days. Fax accepted for credit card payments. Cancellations made between 30 October and 7 November 2005 will attract a $75 administration fee. There will be no refunds after this date. Abstracts should be no longer than 500 words and be submitted along with a title, authors’ names and full addresses.

Papers should be presented in single spaced 12pt Times New Roman font on A4 sized pages with a margin of 3 cm on the left hand side and 2 cm on the right hand side. Main headings should be typed bold with second order headings in italics. Paragraphs should be indented and unjustified on the right hand margin. Units should be presented as kg/ha, not kg ha-1.In the text and captions use ‘Table x’ and ‘Fig x’ to refer to tables and figures.
